Nine killed on KZN roads this weekend

Paramedics have had a busy night attending to multiple serious accidents overnight.

JOHANNESBURG - KwaZulu-Natal Emergency Service Officials say nine people have been killed in various accidents across the province this weekend alone.

In the first accident, four people were killed and eight injured when a minibus and car collided on a highway in the Umkhanyakude District last night.

The other accidents occurred in Phoenix and Pietermaritzburg.

The Provincial Emergency Medical Services unit's Robert Mckenzie.

"Paramedics have had a busy night attending to multiple serious accidents between last night and this morning. Between now and last night there's been a total of at least nine people that have been killed on KZN roads."
