JOHANNESBURG - Rolene Strauss says she would like to show girls around the world to love themselves and their beauty within.

The new miss world has addressed the media at OR Tambo International Airport.

Strauss arrived at OR Tambo this morning to hundreds of fans from all over the country.

Strauss is taking her new role as ambassador of South Africa and the world very seriously. The new Miss World says she wants to make a real difference with her new title especially in the medical field.

The fourth year medical student says she received the miss world crown on behalf of all South Africans and it would not have been possible without the people in her life including Nelson Mandela and her father.

"My legacy is the legacy of giving. Everything that I have, my time, my love, to those around me."

The Former Miss South Africa has a busy schedule next year representing the country around the world.

Her message to young women around the world is that they must look at her inner beauty and not just her body when they see her.
