Man dies boarding Mango flight at OR Tambo
It’s understood the man collapsed upon boarding the flight and passed away on the scene.
JOHANNESBURG - Mango Airlines says some flights will be delayed this morning after a man died while boarding a plane at OR Tambo International Airport.
The man was a passenger on a flight scheduled to depart for Durban at 6:30am.
Despite paramedics' efforts to save his life, he died on the scene.
The airline's Hein Kaiser says, "We wish all our condolences to the gentleman's family. It's not a really good time of the year for anything like this to happen."
He says the man boarded the flight, collapsed and despite efforts to save his life, he unfortunately passed away.
