Tonight's PSL action

All four teams look to keep up with log leaders Kaizer Chiefs.

JOHANNESBURG - There are two games in the Premier Soccer League tonight and both are potentially mouthwatering as all four teams look to keep up with log leaders Kaizer Chiefs.

With only one win in their last five games, Orlando Pirates will be desperate to get back to winning ways if they are to stay in the title race.

Pirates suffered their second consecutive loss on Saturday, losing 2-0 to arch rivals Kaizer Chiefs, in what was Eric Tinkler's first match in his third stint as the club's caretaker coach.

Tinkler took over from Vladimir Vermezovic, who resigned following the team's defeat to Maritzburg United last week.

Tonight the former Bafana Bafana midfielder faces another tough task as he looks to guide the Buccaneers to victory over defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns.

Tinkler will be well aware of the threat that Sundowns pose, as they look to exact revenge for the 3-0 drubbing they suffered at the hands of the Soweto giants in August.

In the evening's other clash, third-placed Wits will welcome fourth-placed Ajax Cape Town in Johannesburg, eager to build on their positive result on Sunday.

Both teams go into the match tied on 23 points and a goal difference of two, making this an intriguing encounter.

Wits beat Bloemfontein Celtic 1-0 at the Free State Stadium and will have their sights set on opening a three-point gap between them and the Urban Warriors.

Ajax, who have also managed a single win in their last four matches, will be hoping that history repeats itself, after they put three goals past Wits keeper Jackson Mabokgwane in the last meeting between the two sides.
