JOHANNESBURG - The case against a man accused of the murder of Reiger Park boy Curburne van Wyk has been postponed once again in the Boksburg Magistrates Court.

Three year old Curburne's burnt body was found at a dump site in August.

Dressed in blue jeans and a colourful t-shirt, suspect Nathaniel Katlego Mpoku was escorted into the courtroom in leg irons by a police officer.

Mpoku avoided eye contact with people sitting in the public gallery including Cuburne's family and some community members.

Van Wyk disappeared while playing outside with his siblings in the East Rand township.

The case has now been referred to the Director of Public Prosecutor for further investigation.

25-year-old Mpoku is expected back in court next Wednesday.
