JOHANNESBURG - Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns played out to a 1-1 draw at FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

After a dull first half which saw the teams go into the break locked at nil nil, both teams turned on the magic in the second half.

The Brazilians needed just eight minutes after the break to find the back of the net. A beautiful curling strike from just inside the box from Teko Modise beat Brilliant Khuzwayo in goal to give Pitso Mosimane's team the lead.

It lasted only 12 minutes as the Glamour Boys equalised through George Lebese to the delight of the home fans. That goal seemed to breathe new life into the log leaders, but they couldn't capitalise on that momentum and find a winner.

The result maintains Chief's unbeaten run in the league as well as their twelve point lead over the reigning champions.
