Hanover Park residents vow to take back community
Residents intend marching to the homes of gangsters to request them to stop shooting.
In the latest incident, a man was gunned down on Tuesday.
The local Community Policing Forum's Ebrahim Abrahams said, "We're having a march on Saturday. We're going to gangsters to make it known that we're taking back the community. The request is for them to abstain from shooting. The community and the police are together on this".
Meanwhile, a community member says she saw children involved in a separate gang shooting on Wednesday.
"When I looked out of my window I saw a child of around 10-years-old running with a gun."
