Arrest made in Taegrin Morris murder case

JOHANNESBURG - Police have made an arrest in the Taegrin Morris murder case, three months after the young boy was killed.

The four-year-old was dragged behind his parents' stolen vehicle for several kilometres as the gunmen sped off with him still strapped in with a seat belt in July.

He died a short while later and his body was later discovered in Boksburg next to the abandoned vehicle.

Morris was laid to rest in Reiger Park.

A 32-year-old suspect was arrested in Katlehong today.

He is expected to appear in the Boksburg Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Authorities were offering a R100,000 reward to anyone with information on the hijackers.
