Building torched in violent EC protests

CAPE TOWN - A building in Kirkwood near Port Elizabeth has been torched during violent protests.

Demonstrators have also barricaded a major road between Despatch and Port Elizabeth since yesterday.

Eastern Cape police spokesperson Basil Seekoei says the protests appear to be over service delivery.
