Pagad considers laying charges against police
Pagad says police officers threatened marchers who were to take part in protests in Parow.
CAPE TOWN - Anti-crime group, People Against Gangsterism and Drugs, (Pagad), says it's considering laying charges of intimidation against police.
The group claims officers threatened marchers who were to take part in a demonstration in Parow over the weekend.
Pagad says it eventually canceled the protest.
The organisation's Haroon Orrie says they feel harassed by police officers and they want this to end.
"And we feel this is police harassment within communities who want to take a position against gangsterism and fight crime in the area."
