Basic Education ready to administer final matric exams
Grade 12’s nationwide will put pen to paper in just over 30 days’ time.
CAPE TOWN - The Basic Education Ministry says it's preparations ahead of the 2014 matric final exams are complete.

At least 700,000 candidates both full and part-time have registered for the national senior certificate exams.
65,000 markers have also been appointed.
Basic Education spokesperson Elijah Mhlanga says, "We are ready to administer the examinations. We have checked our centres, we have appointed invigilators, there are 65,000, and they are ready as well. We have check our partners that assist us during exam time in terms of security, they are all ready for us."
