Gautrain: Commuters must ensure they weren’t double charged
An Eskom pylon fell onto the railway line causing severe disruptions in service on Friday.
JOHANNESBURG - Gautrain is asking all its commuters affected by the disruption on Friday morning to ensure they were not wrongly charged.
The service experienced severe disruptions for about two hours on Friday when an Eskom pylon fell onto the railway line after a vehicle crashed into it.
Gautrain's Errol Braithwaite says if commuters feel they were incorrectly or double charged, they should complete a refund form available at all stations.
"If people would like to get refunds for a wasted trip or a half trip then we do have facilities that each station can get a form to fill in a refund application and we will then be able to upload value back onto that card."
