Vredendal in shock after farm murder
Police are investigating the murder of 74-year-old woman who was found dead on her farm this week.
CAPE TOWN - Vredendal community members are in shock following the murder of an elderly woman.
The body the 74- year-old woman was found on her farm this week.
It's believed she was killed during a robbery.
West Coast resident Bennie Van der Merwe says the community is very concerned.
"We are a quiet area with a relatively high level of employment, so it's not just something that we are used to on the West Coast. We basically live in peace."
Police are investigating a case of murder.
No arrests have been made.
