JOHANNESBURG - The executive producer and creator of popular soapie Generations, Mfundi Vundla, says the demands made by the 16 cast members who have now been fired, were completely unreasonable.

The actors were dismissed with immediate effect on Monday, when they ignored the final ultimatum to report for work.

They had made several demands, including better pay, extended contracts and royalties for episodes that were rebroadcast.
