JOHANNESBURG - Bidvest Wits will be looking to build on their impressive opening Premier Soccer League (PSL) win over SuperSport United when they take on AmaTuks at Bidvest Stadium tonight.

Gavin Hunt's men beat SuperSport 1-0 on Saturday night and know that a repeat score line against rivals AmaTuks would go far in cementing their position as title contenders.

Wits spent heavily in the transfer window as they recruited players with experience in order to aid their bid for a trophy this season and one of those new recruits, Buhle Mkhwanazi, will be going up against his former club.

The former AmaTuks captain had an impressive debut in the game against SuperSport and will be looking to continue that form as his current employers aim for top spot in the league.

AmaTuks will be looking for an immediate response having lost 1-0 to Polokwane City at the weekend.

However, if the Pretoria outfit are looking for some success during the game, stats indicate that it may be a difficult 90 minutes for the students.

In four previous meetings, AmaTuks are yet to win, having lost two and drawn two. They are also struggling because a number of players still haven't received their work permits.
