Authorities investigate murder of elderly couple

JOHANNESBURG - The bodies of an elderly couple have been discovered in the west of Pretoria.
The pair was found by their son earlier this morning after what appears to have been a house robbery.
Police say the couple's vehicle was taken from their garage just after 8am and household goods had also been stolen.
The police's Bonginkosi Msimango's says the couple's son drove to the house after not being able to get hold of either of them.
"The son phoned his parents early this morning and there was no response."
