Earthquake shakes up social media

Twitter and Facebook was instantly flooded with comments from South Africans.

JOHANNESBURG - An earthquake was felt in a number of provinces, including Gauteng, the North West, Free State and KwaZulu-Natal on Tuesday afternoon.

The South African Council for Geoscience says the quake measured 5,5 on the Richter scale.

Twitter and Facebook was instantly flooded with comments from South Africans all over the country.

Some users have been quick to use humour when reacting to the quake.
