DA hopes to win Nelson Mandela Bay votes
Helen Zille says her party could take control of the wards if all their supporters come out to vote.
CAPE TOWN - Democratic Alliance (DA) leader Helen Zille on Sunday said she believes their chances of winning two wards in the Nelson Mandela Bay metro in the Eastern Cape are reasonable.
Zille's campaigning in Greenbushes today ahead of the by-elections that will be held in two weeks' time.
The DA is contesting two wards in the area.
Zille says her party could take control of the wards if all their supporters come out to vote.
"We have two bi-elections here in the Nelson Mandela Metro. One in ward 40 the other in ward 10.
"Both are challenging wards for us and we would very much like to win them. We have two excellent candidates who have been dedicated to public service."
