JOHANNESBURG - Public Service and Administration Minister Collins Chabane says he is confident a solution will be found to deal with the exorbitant amount of money being spent on suspended employees.

Nearly R50 million has been paid out to around 400 public servants who are currently serving suspensions.

The majority of employees are accused of fraud, corruption and assault.

Chabane says he now wants to review the suspension system.

"We have to look at that to see which component of it belongs to which section so that we are able to deal with it. But we think all the stakeholders are concerned."
