JOHANNESBURG - A new state witness in the Radovan Krejcir trial has implicated the Czech businessman in a drug trafficking incident that took place last year.

Krejcir and five others are accused of kidnapping and torturing an East Rand man when the deal went wrong.

State witness Bheki Khumalo has described in detail how he got involved in a drug trafficking incident in which the Czech was allegedly part of.

Khumalo says he accompanied a man only known as 'Doctor' to drop off a black sports bag full of drugs at an unknown location in June last year.

He says he never wanted to get involved, but was the next day tracked down by Krejcir's helper claiming the Czech businessman wanted his drugs back.

In court, Khumalo pointed to accused number two Desai Luphondo when asked to identify the man who was sent to recover Krejcir's drugs.
