JOHANNESBURG - A new state witness is expected to be called to testify against Czech businessman Radovan Krejcir and five others today in the High Court sitting in Palm Ridge.

The group is accused of abducting an East Rand man in June last year and they all face charges of kidnapping, attempted murder and dealing in drugs.

It's expected more details will emerge today about what could have happened on the day Bheki Lukhele claims he was tortured.

Earlier in this trial, Lukhele told the court how he had been assaulted with boiling water which was poured over his head.

Krejcir and his co-accused have strongly denied any involvement in the crime.

National Police Commissioner Riah Phiyega and crime intelligence boss Chris Ngcobo are among those who've been subpoenaed to testify in court.

The Czech is also facing a raft of other charges in another case and is accused of plotting to kill two police investigators.
