CT driver clocks 240km/h
CT traffic services have arrested a woman for driving a Jaguar on the N2 at 240km/h.
CAPE TOWN - Cape Town traffic services says the long arm of the law has caught up with a speedster travelling way above the legal speed limit.
The 41-year-old woman was arrested after clocking 240km/h while driving a Jaguar on the N2 near Nyanga at the weekend.
Traffic spokesperson Maxine Jordaan says the driver was arrested after an apparent high speed chase.
"She also pushed two motorists off the roadway. One of the motorists had damage to his mirror when he hit the barrier. She was arrested for reckless and negligent driving. There are also two warrants of arrest outstanding for this driver."
