Minister sends condolences after crash
Ten people died when a bakkie collided with a gas tanker between Edenburg and Bloemfontein.
JOHANNESBURG - Transport Minister Dipuo Peters on Monday sent her condolences to the families of 10 people killed in a head-on collision in the Free Estate.
Four children are said to be among those killed in Sunday's crash.
A bakkie collided with a gas tanker between Edenburg and Bloemfontein in the Free State.
It's believed some of the dead and injured were travelling on the back of the bakkie when the accident occurred.
Peters said she wanted to know exactly what happened.
The minister urged motorists to respect the law.
