R50k reward for Donald Sebolai's location

The Jozi FM DJ has been on the run since Dolly Marawa was found dead in her apartment.

Gauteng police are offering a R50k reward for info on the whereabouts of Jozi FM DJ Donald Sebolai.

JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng police are offering a R50,000 reward to anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of a Jozi FM DJ who has been accused of murder.

Radio personality Donald Duck, whose real name is Donald Sebolai, has been on the run since 32-year-old Dolly Marawa was found dead in her apartment in Jabulani, Soweto.

Police claim Sebolai phoned Marawa's friend to confess to the crime before fleeing in her car.

The vehicle was found abandoned later that day.

The police's Kay Makhubela says Sebolai's whereabouts remain unknown.

Sebolai presented a popular weekday mid-morning chat show which focused on the empowerment of women and was seen as a rising star in community radio.

Station management released a statement earlier this week confirming an employee of the station is wanted for questioning in connection with Marawa's murder, but didn't name the DJ.

In the statement, station management said it is committed to gender equality protection of women and children and called the employee to hand himself over to the police.

Sebolai apparently told friends he was going to Botswana and Jozi FM has removed his profile from its website.
