CAPE TOWN - The sentencing proceedings of a Cape Town man convicted of raping three women has been postponed in the Western Cape High Court on Thursday.

It is reported that two of his three rape victims were pregnant at the time they were attacked.

Vuyisile Stofile was found guilty of a string of crimes, including rape and robbery in May.

His convictions stem from six incidents that took place between April and September 2012.

Stofile who has terrorised Nyanga women for almost a year will be sentenced on 1 July.

The court has delayed sentencing proceedings because of logistical problems.

Stofile used public transport from Khayelitsha to Nyanga to wait for woman crossing a field near GF Jooste Hospital.

He would approach his victims and offer to accompany them for safety reasons.

Shortly after, Stofile would rape them.
