CAPE TOWN - Actor Brett Goldin's mother on Wednesday said she accepts the parole board's decision to release two men implicated in her son's death.

The pair were released from the Drakenstein Correctional Centre on Wednesday morning.

Convicts Jade Wyngaard and Nurshad Davids have both served two-thirds of their sentence in connection with the murders of Goldin and fashion designer Richard Bloom.

They were sentenced to 12-years behind bars for kidnapping, robbery and possession of an unlicensed firearm.

The bodies of Bloom and Goldin were found next to the Klipfontein Road offramp of the M5 highway in April 2006.

They were shot after leaving a party in Cape Town.

Goldin's mother, Denise, says she hopes the pair will use their second chance to do something positive with their lives.

Meanwhile, two other men jailed for the double murder are still in prison.
