Lutzkie arrested in Zim once again
The controversial SA businessman allegedly told a town councillor he would “fix him”.
ZIMBABWE - Controversial South African businessman Frikkie Lutzkie has been arrested once again in Zimbabwe.
Authorities arrested him on charges of disorderly conduct after he allegedly threatened a town councillor.
Earlier in June, Lutzkie was given a three-and-a-half-year-jail sentence for breaching immigration regulations.
This after Zimbabwean police found a buried helicopter wreck on the ranch he was renting and said he was flying in and out of the country illegally.
He is currently out on bail in that matter.
The businessman's lawyer said his client was alleged to have used threatening and abusive language against Gwanda town councillor Mphathiswa Ncube.
Lutzkie allegedly accused the councillor of misleading police in an attempt to get him evicted from a game ranch.
According to the state-run_ Chronicle_ newspaper, Ncube complained that Lutzkie said he would "fix him".
