JOHANNESBURG - It was an exhilarating first half between Brazil and Cameroon.

It was simplicity at its best when Neymar scored the first goal for the Brazilians.

Cameroon produced a much sturdier performance than expected, when Joel Matip rattled Brazil with the Lion's first goal, making it 1-1.

However, Neymar gave Brazil the lead yet again after weaving through the Cameroon defence and scoring the second goal.

That makes Neymar the leading scorer of the tournament so far, with four goals.

Cameroon came into this match already eliminated from the 2014 Fifa World Cup, without having scored a single goal in the tournament.

Brazil will hope to secure their position at the top of group A, as well as boost the confidence of their home support ahead of the knockout stages, with a convincing win over Cameroon.
