JOHANNESBURG - Politician, businessman and socialite Kenny Kunene on Saturday denied reports that he is leaving the Patriotic Alliance (PA).

Weekend media reports quoted Kunene saying he will call it quits as secretary general of the party to devote more time to his book and business

But Kunene told Eyewitness News today that he has no plans to quit the party.

"They are very untrue, I am not quitting the Patriotic Alliance, and I'm not stepping down as secretary general."

Kunene formed the PA last year with his business partner Gayton Mckenzie after a fall out with the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF).
