CAPE TOWN - Twitter came alive after Spain's shock elimination from the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil last night.

Spain's 2-0 loss to Chile, coupled with their opening round 5-1 hammering at the hands of the Netherlands, saw the defending champions eliminated in record time without scoring a goal from open play.
