3 SANDF members die in plane crash
Two others have been seriously injured and are in a stable but critical condition in hospital.
JOHANNESBURG - The South African National Defence Force (SANDF) on Tuesday confirmed three members were killed and two others injured in a plane crash in Mpumalanga.
It's not yet clear what caused the crash.
The plane was carrying members of a team participating in an operations training camp in Lydenburg and had taken off from the Waterkloof Air Force Base in Centurion.
SANDF spokesperson Xolani Mabanga said the survivors are in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
"Accidentally, there was a crash where we lost three members."
