JOHANNESBURG - Traditional leaders in Limpopo this week presented acting Chief Operations Officer of the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), Hlaudi Motsoeneng, with 10 young women from which to choose a wife.

Motsoeng's position at the national broadcaster was questioned after the Public Protector Thuli Madonsela released a damning report about his appointment and salary progression.

He might be in a difficult position regarding his career but in Limpopo he's considered a perfect candidate to take on a traditional wife.

He met with traditional leaders to discuss their dissatisfaction with the way Venda healers were represented by the national broadcaster.

The community took the opportunity to present him with options in terms of choosing a wife.

It's alleged that one young woman caught his eye and that he was in contact with her.

Meanwhile, Motsoeneng is waiting to hear from his employers regarding Madonsela's report on his appointment and it's unclear if he will remain in his position at the SABC.
