Ma Mbeki to be laid to rest

CAPE TOWN - Hundreds of mourners from across the political spectrum are expected to attend Epainette Mbeki's funeral in the Eastern Cape on Saturday.
Former President Thabo Mbeki's 98-year-old mother passed away last Saturday.
A memorial service was held for Ma Mbeki in Dutywa on Thursday.
An official funeral will be held for the stalwart who was involved in uplifting her community for most of her life.
President Jacob Zuma will however not be attending, due to his ill health, but has authorised flags to be flown at half-mast in the province.
Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa will deliver the eulogy while bidding farewell to Ma Mbeki.
