Two wounded in Lenasia taxi shooting
The shoot-out is believed to have been sparked by a clash over routes.
JOHANNESBURG - Police say two people have been wounded during a shoot-out at the Lenasia taxi rank between two rival associations.
Police are still on the scene but say the situation is calm and taxis are running as normal.
It's not yet clear why the two groups opened fire on each other but the shoot-out is believed to have been sparked by a clash over routes.
The police's Kay Makhubela says no one has been arrested at this stage but authorities have opened a case of attempted murder.
The wounded have been taken to hospital.
