Malema: Chaos ahead for Fisheries Dept
The EFF leader says the new minister and his deputy are an odd pair.
CAPE TOWN - The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) fears the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries will fall into further chaos following President Jacob Zuma's recent Cabinet reshuffle.
EFF leader Julius Malema, who is a National Assembly newcomer, was speaking at a workshop held at Parliament on Sunday.
He said the department's newly appointed Minister Senzeni Zokwana and his deputy Bheki Cele were an odd pair.
Malema also said Zokwana had simply been rewarded for defending Zuma when a controversial painting of him was displayed at a Johannesburg art gallery.
Malema added Zuma's Cabinet was filled with too many loyalists and was far too big and expensive.
