CAPE TOWN - Nine people have died on Western Cape roads this weekend.

Four pedestrians were also knocked over on the province's roads.

Provincial Traffic Chief Kenny Africa says, "Three passengers, one in Belville, another one in Parow and one in Citrusdal died in motor vehicle accidents. Early yesterday morning in Paarl, two vehicles were involved in an accident and the driver of one of these vehicles died."
