CAPE TOWN - Economic Freedom Fighters ( EFF) leader Julius Malema says the only thing his party has in common with the Democratic Alliance (DA) is that they are both opposition parties in Parliament.

He's also accused Helen Zille of oppressing the black members of her party calling her "the number one racist in South Africa".

Malema was addressing journalists in Cape Town earlier on Sunday.

Malema says while the party will back the DA on some issues in Parliament, he made it clear that the EFF will not be siding with the official opposition every time.

"If the DA says we must vote Zuma out, we are going to do that and after voting Zuma out they say we must vote Helen Zille in. We refuse."

He had harsh words for Zille.

"We can't vote Helen Zille, the most racist, the number one racist."

According to Malema the EFF is going to be a force to be reckoned with in Parliament.
