Elderly couple found dead

JOHANNESBURG - Police have confirmed an elderly couple have been found dead in their smallholding in Boschkop, in the east of Pretoria.
The bodies of 80-year-old Sandra and her 82-year-old husband Louis Swanepoel were discovered by their son in the main bedroom in their home yesterday afternoon.
The police's Marissa van der Merwe says a case of murder is being investigated.
"Their son Johan Swanepoel who stayed with them has left the premises early yesterday, at about 12:30 with his return he found the bodies of his mother and father dead in the house. He immediately phoned the neighbour that assisted him with contacting the police."
