Dladla ban lifted
Kaizer Chiefs confirmed on Tuesday that SAIDS cleared the midfielder of doping.
JOHANNESBURG - Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Josta Dladla has been cleared to play following a ruling by the South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport Drug-Free Sport (SAIDS) on Monday.
The 34-year-old has been out of action since last year.
SAIDS confirmed in January the player was found to have used a banned stimulant called Methylhexaneamine.
Chiefs confirmed Monday's decision on its Twitter account.
"The decision effectively allows Josta Dladla to resume with his playing career from the 14th of May 2014 and we welcome the decision."
