Woman's body found in Bekkersdal

JOHANNESBURG - A 33-year-old woman who was reported missing last month was found in a mine shaft in Bekkersdal on Gauteng's West Rand.
Police say the woman's throat had been cut.
The police's Kay Makhubela said she was reported missing on 24 April in Protea Glen, Soweto.
No arrests have yet been made.
Meanwhile, another woman's body has been discovered close to a railway line in Soweto.
The victim, believed to be in her 20s, was found by a passerby on Friday.
It is still not clear how the woman died.
