SA couple's three children found dead in UK
A 43-year-old woman was arrested and is being questioned about the deaths.
LONDON - United Kingdom (UK) police are investigating the deaths of three children at the London home of a South African couple.
A 42-year-old woman has been arrested but officers are refusing to reveal her identity.
The house is lived in by the couple who moved in to the house just a few months ago.
Neighbours said that the South African couple living at the New Malden home are Gary and Tania Clarence.
They have four children, but the three youngest were reportedly unwell and required the full-time care of their mother.
Gary Clarence heads up a division at an investment bank after moving to the UK 12 years ago.
It is believed the eldest child and his father are abroad, and are travelling back to the country today.
Forensic officers have spent the night removing bags of evidence from the large suburban detached house, which had recently undergone a massive refurbishment.
The three sick children are said to have life-limiting disabilities and the refurbishment included the installation of a lift for the children prior to the family moving in.
The ages of the dead children have not yet been confirmed.
