Heat-wave conditions have been experienced throughout the province this week.
CAPE TOWN - Hot weather conditions that have been experienced across the Western Cape are expected to cool down on Sunday to make way for a cold front.
Heat wave conditions have been experienced throughout the province this week.
Cape Town peaked at 34 degrees while the west coast town of Vredendal reached a high of 41 degrees.
The South African Weather Service's Stella Make says a cold front is expected on Monday morning.
"Today we're expecting some coastal low that will bring some cool conditions. This will be ahead of a cold front introducing a bit of cool air. For the Cape peninsula we might even see some rain during the course of Monday morning."
