WC traffic to impound unroadworthy vehicles
WC traffic has warned long distance drivers unroadworthy vehicles will be impounded immediately.
CAPE TOWN - Western Cape traffic services say long distance vehicles found to be unroadworthy will be impounded immediately.
Authorities have already pulled an SA Roadlink bus off the road while it was travelling near Worcester. Its brakes were found to be faulty.
Western Cape Traffic Chief Kenny Africa says, "This is a warning to public transport operators and bus owners that we will have a no-nonsense approach when it comes to long distance busses and taxis on our roads. If a vehicle is unroadworthy we will discontinue the use of that vehicle."
