Jazz festival a resounding success
Over 30,000 music lovers, including president Zuma,attended the 15th annual festival this weekend.
CAPE TOWN - Organisers of the Cape Town International Jazz Festival say the event has been a resounding success.
Over 30,000 music lovers, including President Jacob Zuma and the ANC's top brass attended the 15th annual festival this weekend.
The line-up included international and local acts including the so-called queen of neo-soul, Erykah Badu, Jonas Gwangwa, Shakatak and Matthew Gold.
The festival's Rashid Lombard says organisers have already started looking at 2015.
"The real work actually kicks in round about September."
