Petrol price likely to rise again
Motorists may face a small petrol price increase soon after a 36 cents hike last month.
CAPE TOWN - It looks increasingly likely that motorists will pay more for fuel from next month.
The Department of Energy will hold a briefing about adjustments to fuel prices on Thursday.
Economist Dawie Roodt said, "The small increase has to do with the Minister of Finance adding to the petrol price by way of different taxes. But there's an over-recovery on the petrol price, which means it's likely to fall. The net effect is a small increase of around 5 cents per litre."
