JOHANNESBURG - Bulls coach Frans Ludeke on Wednesday made one change to his team to face the Chiefs this weekend.

Winger Akona Ndungane is back from compassionate leave and replaces Sampie Mastriet, who goes back to Vodacom Cup rugby.

The Bulls had a good run against the Chiefs lately, something Ludeke believes cannot be taken for granted.

"We don't want to be arrogant, any game for us is great. Against New Zealand sides, they bring the best out of us with the way they play and the different things they bring to the table. We're looking forward to it. They're the in-form side."

Stand-in skipper Victor Matfield says the competition is getting more intense with every passing game.

"So far this year they've been good, only losing one game. They'll be a bit sharper this week because I don't think they were on their game last week. We hope we have the plans to go out and be successful. It's getting tougher every week. Playing the Sharks, who were in-form, and now facing the top side in the competition is a big challenge for us."
