JOHANNESBURG - It has emerged the first accused in the Dustin Blom murder case, Maruschka Robinson, has confessed to killing him.

Robinson, who is a former stripper, and her partner Jean-Pierre Malan allegedly killed Blom last year, dumped his body in the boot of his car and parked it at Montecasino in Fourways.

The two are currently appearing in the Randburg Magistrates Court.

Apparently Robinson and Malan, an alleged drug trafficker, also withdrew about R35,000 from Blom's bank account.

The state says it will now charge Robinson and her co-accused with premeditated murder.

Autopsy results have revealed Blom was strangled to death.

During the alleged killers' last appearance in January the court heard how two armed men broke into the home of an officer investigating the case to try and get hold of the dockets.

Four members from the tactical response team were present during those court proceedings to boost security.

The two suspects were arrested days after the decomposing body of the 36-year-old was discovered.

Meanwhile, four men accused of taking over R100,000 from Blom's bank account after his death are expected to appear in the same court today.
