CAPE TOWN - Stamp collectors are bound to feel excited on Friday as the South African Post Office (Sapo) released a very limited run celebrating World Design Capital 2014.
The Post Office ran a competition for budding artists to make their mark on a stamp.
The winner's design is a series of quotes by famous South Africans and is slotted into one of the World Design Capital's themes of a global conversation.
Sapo spokesperson Martie Gilchrist says the stamps are bound to ignite ones imagination.
"They approved our suggestion for a stamp design competition and now it's being launched. We hope everybody is going to buy stamps and send letters all over the world."
