Mazibuko recovering after op
The DA Parliamentary Leader is recovering in hospital.
CAPE TOWN - Democratic Alliance (DA) Parliamentary Leader Lindiwe Mazibuko is recovering in hospital following an operation, the party confirmed on Friday.
It says the nature of Mazibuko's illness will not be disclosed at this stage in order to protect her privacy.
Her operation took place on Thursday.
The opposition party says her recovery period will be determined by doctors.
Mazibuko is expected to be out of action over the next couple of weeks.
For now, DA Parliamentary Caucus Chairperson Wilmot James will undertake her key responsibilities and duties.
