CAPE TOWN - The principal of the George Khoza Secondary School in Dobsonville says his school has let down the two teenage girls who were found dead in a veld last week.

Matome Mailula was speaking at a joint funeral service held for both girls at the Dobsonville stadium in Soweto this morning.

Thandeka Moganetsi (15) and 16-year-old Cwayita Rathazwayo were discovered by a community member last Wednesday.

Two teenage boys from the same school have been arrested in connection with the murders.

Mailula says he still finds it difficult to believe what happened to the two girls.

Thandeka Moganetsi and Cwayita Rathazwayo will be laid to rest in a cemetery in Soweto.
